Chuck Davis serves as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for, the leading online rewards platform based in El Segundo, CA, and the hallmark property of parent company Prodege, LLC’s digital portfolio. A veteran of growth­scale leadership,Davis has overseen the global standardization of ground­breaking ecommerce models including digital and mobile entertainment / ticket sales (Fandango) and consumer comparison shopping (Shopzilla / At Swagbucks, Davis evangelizes the consumer and advertising value of rewards discovery and community loyalty.

He previously served as Swagbucks’ Executive Chairman from January 2013­April 2014. Davis also serves as a digital company and industry board director and advisor, currently serving as venture partner for Technology Crossover Ventures in Palo Alto, CA. TCV manages over $10 billion in active funds including investments in great digital brands such as Facebook, Netflix, and Zillow. Most recently, TCV accompanied his appointment to CEO of Swagbucks’ with the company’s first external investment round for $60 million in May 2014.

Davis is the immediate past international chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization, where he is in his fifth and final year of serving on its international board of directors. YPO is the world’s largest CEO business organization with 21,000 members in 130 countries, whose companies account for 10% of the world’s GDP. Davis was elected its international chairman in November, 2011.

Davis also serves as one of 14 entrepreneurs in residence at Harvard Business School, where he meets with students representing over 50 startups annually. He is also a director for the Brown University Sports Foundation, where he also served as an elected member of the University’s Corporation from 2007­13 and headed its Advancement Committee.

Davis also is executive chairman of The Great Courses (The Teaching Company is the parent company) featuring 500 of the best online courses taught by the world’s leading university professors and serves as a director for the wireless company Boingo (WIFI). Earlier, Davis led Fandango to become the nation’s top moviegoer web, mobile, and ecommerce destination during his five years (2006 – 2011) as its CEO.

As Chairman and CEO, Davis sold Fandango to Comcast Corporation in 2007. Previously, Davis led Shopzilla, Inc., formerly, as its president & CEO, to become the largest, mostprofitable and fastest­ growing comparison shopping site online from 1999­2005.

Shopzilla was acquired by the E.W. Scripps Company for $569 million in 2005. Davis was president, eCommerce for The Walt Disney Company’s Internet Group where he launched many merchant and travel businesses including and while supervising advertising sales, marketing, and online subscription initiatives during his 1996 – 1999 tenure.

As TV Guide’s senior vice president of marketing, Davis directed the consumer marketing and circulation groups for America’s largest magazine from 1992­1995 and increased subscriptions from 7 to 9 million. Davis started his career at Time Inc.’s Sports Illustrated, Life, and Time Magazines in marketing, circulation, and financial roles. Davis earned his BA from Brown University and his MBA from Harvard University.
